Great, back to affiliates … so, what the heck is an affiliate, anyway?

Good question. Being an affiliate for PoleSkivvies gives you the chance to make money whenever you refer a customer.

All you do is click the sign up at the bottom of this page. You’ll then receive link code to put on your website (this is easy – and I can help you with it, too, if it’s new to you). And – voila! – whenever you send me a customer, you’ll get a commission on what they buy!

What can I earn?

Shorts and tops earn a 10% commission.
Workbooks earn a 20% commission.

What else do I need to know?

There is no minimum you need to reach before getting paid. Even if you only earned $1.92 in commissions, you’ll still get paid.
You get paid by the end of the following month. That means, all your commissions for January are totaled and you will be paid them by the end of February.
You will need a website and a PayPal account. My software requires affiliates to have a PayPal account.
You get paid even if customers don’t buy right away. Sometimes people need to look a few times before deciding to buy. My affiliate program keeps track of who you’ve sent my way over the last few months and counts their purchases towards your commission. Please note, this only works if the customer has enabled cookies on their computer.
Returns to me are returns to you. If a customer returns an item, you will not be paid the commission on it. Basically, if I don’t get paid, you don’t get paid.
I highly recommend you familiarize yourself with the products you choose to promote. So, read the sales pages thoroughly so you know exactly what is being offered. Look over the testimonials page, and read as much as you can on the blog. You can’t make any commission if no one wants to buy, and you can’t interest them if you don’t know what you’re selling.
Only PoleSkivvies workbooks and clothing earn commission. All other items do NOT get an affiliate commission, since they are distributed on my site but are not originated by PoleSkivvies.

Sounds cool! How do I sign up?

Then what happens?

You will find yourself at E-Junkie, which manages my affiliate program. From there, it’s pretty straightforward. Just:

Register for a new account.
Click “Get Affiliate Code.” (If you don’t see that, click “Affiliate Admin” and then click “Get Affiliate Code.”)
Select PoleSkivvies from the list and choose “Get Affiliate Code.”
Go to “Get Product Specific Affiliate Links” at the bottom of the page.
Select the product you wish to promote from the drop-down list.
Click “Get Affiliate Code.”
Copy the snippet of code provided in the yellow box. It will look something like this:

Paste this code into your website.
Repeat steps 5 through 8 for as many products as you wish to promote.

You will have to paste in your own e-junkie code and remove the spaces before the “a hrefs” and “img src” and “br” to get this to work for you.

How do I promote my affiliate link?

The more you promote your link, the more commission you’ll earn. Here are some ideas:

Do a blog post on pole dancing and include your affiliate link.
Mention PoleSkivvies on Facebook or Twitter and include your affiliate link.
Submit an article to an online magazine (pole or otherwise) and include your affiliate link.
Create a page on your website for one of the products and include your affiliate link.
Email your newsletter about the products and include your affiliate link.

Can I use your photos?

Yes! You’ll definitely want some photos to liven up the links and let people know what they’re getting. So, feel free to copy any of the images at the above links to your site. Let me know if you need larger images or if there is anything else you need help with.
