Online Pole Dancing Classes
Want to learn pole dancing online?
Where I live, there are no pole dancing studios anywhere – which is why I study online. If you’re in the same boat, check out these instructors who offer online pole dancing lessons. Where I have an interview about the instructor, I link to it so you can meet them. However, since I can’t know every studio personally, be sure to also read how to find a good pole dance instructor, so you know what you should be looking for.
Studio Veena
Studio Veena is a fantastic pole dancing resource offering online video courses. Taught by Veena, an amazing pole dancer, with gorgeous moves and transitions, she brings the beautiful influence of ballet to everything she does. Her courses take you from warm-ups to transitions to advanced inverts.
Better still, Studio Veena is home to a vibrant pole forum where you can get any clarifications on a move, message Veena directly, or participate in chat sessions with other pole dancers. The chat option is available any time, but the best time to meet the other pole dancers is Friday evenings – that’s when things really get lively!
Be sure to check out these videos of Veena so you can see for yourself how great she is.
Vertical Dance
Vertical Dance is a very popular site with great video pole dancing lessons, each taught by the phenomenal KT Coates. KT Coates has earned a huge following thanks to her knowledge of pole and her ability to break every step down for any level of student. Her video lessons cover warm-ups, cool-downs, and every bit of pole dancing in between. They are easily categorized for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, so you know exactly where to focus your energies.
KT Coates also runs the Vertical Dance forum, which has a ton of information on everything related to pole, and will help you get answers to any questions you may have from the video lessons.
PoleJunkies Virtual Workshop Sundays
PoleJunkies is now offering web-based workshops with a variety of teachers. Called PoleJunkies Virtual Workshop Sundays, let you attend workshops with your favorite instructors without having to travel to see them!
This feature is new, so I don’t yet have much information on it, but if you click the link, you can join their Facebook group and get all the updates.
If you take classes online, you will need to have a pole. These pole reviews can help you find the best one for you. If you’re not sure if there are pole classes in your area, you may want to see if I have any pole dance studios listed near you.
And, when you’re ready to take all those new pole moves and turn them into a real show-stopper, be sure to treat yourself to private coaching.
