Pole Dancing: Clothes for Pole Dance Class
Pole Dance Clothes – Classroom vs. Stage
Pole dancing on stage is different from pole dancing in class. For performance, you want sparkle and shine – something glamorous that can be seen even by the farthest row in the audience.
And, as I remember very well from belly dancing, you can put up with a lot in a costume you’ll have on for ten minutes – much more than you’d ever tolerate from something you wear for hours every week during your workouts.
Which is not to say we haven’t all decked ourselves out in our sexiest, skimpiest attire and rocked our pole – but that’s not what we typically want to wear when we’re sweating our way through our bazillionth pull-up and bemoaning our crunches.
You May Have Noticed
I’m guessing it’s pretty obvious where PoleSkivvies fits into the world of pole apparel – it’s my goal to make the kind of pole clothing you WANT to work up a sweat in!
With that end in mind, I wanted to pick your brains a bit. So, I’ve put together a few questions, depending on whether or not you have a pole studio (since pole studio owners have unique needs of their own).
And, yes, THERE IS A REWARD if you fill out a survey. Because I’m not above giving bribes. You’ll find it in the last question of each survey – and, yes, it’s the same reward in each survey, and it expires May 3, 2010 – so best to click while you’re thinking of it.
Pole Dance Studios
If you own a pole dance studio, please fill out one of these two surveys, whichever is more appropriate:
Pole Dance Studios that Already Sell Apparel
Pole Dance Studios that Do Not Currently Sell Apparel
Pole Dancers
If you pole and don’t own a pole studio, this is the survey you should fill out.
(If you do own a pole studio, you’re welcome to fill this out, too, but one of the surveys above would be more tailored to you, and I’d hate to burn you out filling in a bunch of surveys.)
Thank you!
Thank you tons for all the feedback – your input makes all the difference. And please feel free to forward this post on to a friend, if you think they’d want to contribute their thoughts, too.
Happy poling!
Jennifer
