Pole Dance Most Wanteds

Wanted: Photos of YOU in Your PoleSkivvies

Since the beginning, I’ve always posted photos of pole dancers working out in their Skivvies. In the coming year, though, I want to step that up a notch. For an upcoming ad campaign, I am looking for pictures of regular pole dancers – which is to say, pole dancers like you! – pole dancing in their Skivvies.

Here’s the clincher: They have to be print quality resolution and a truly good photo.

If you would like to submit your photos, email me for details. If chosen for an ad, you will receive a free pair of Skivvies!

Wanted: Pole Dance Blog Posts

Pole dancing interviewees wanted for 2011! If you would like to be interviewed, the process just got a whole lot easier: just copy these interview questions and email me your responses. As simple as that and I’ll get your interview in the line up!

I am also looking for guest bloggers to round out some areas of interest on my blog. I’ll still be doing plenty of blogging, but would welcome submissions on the following topics:

  • Pole dance shoes – what works, what doesn’t, what to look for
  • Teaching physically challenged pole dancers
  • Injury prevention when learning pole
  • Choreographing dances with multiple pole dancers on a single pole
  • Tips on incorporating other fitness styles into your studio line up

Feel free to email me other ideas if another topic especially appeals to you!

Wanted: Online Pole Buddy

I am not a pole dancing Amazon. I realize many of you are, working out a bazillion hours a week. I, on the other hand, am quite content pole dancing twice a week. Each weekend, I do my longer pole work out, incorporating a lot of belly dance. Mid-week, I prefer a nice half hour of spins and inverts and general pole move practice.

The thing is, I am losing motivation mid-week. I come home from the day job, fill orders and blog for PoleSkivvies, and when that’s done – and, sometimes, even before it’s done – I want to fall asleep. Especially now that it’s winter and I am cold. Which bring me to my point …

I need a pole buddy!

Someone who can Skype with me one evening a week – Tuesday through Thursday, most likely – for about half an hour. I’m not looking for instruction, just fun. If you think it would be a hoot to Skype pole with me – even if you can’t do it weekly – email me and we’ll figure out a time.

Happy holidays, everyone! May you be surrounded by love and fun and lots of pole dancing this holiday season!

It’s not really a problem with cleavage perse, but for some reason I really don’t like them on me. I have one top which i like that has a v neck, and it doesn’t go down into a full v, but a a little flat bit where the very end point should be. Not sure why it’s such a big deal for me?

  2. PoleSkivvies says:

@Beth – Hey woman! What’s weird about V-necks? Is it the cleavage or just the V shape? Not sure what to tell you about the shoes – I think Dance Paws are very popular, but they aren’t like ballet shoes, at all.

Hey, i know this is old, but i was looking for a suitable post to to say that although I love your shorts so much (i still haven’t found anywhere else that specifically DOESN’T put the bloody seam down the middle) I didn’t get a matching top because i don’t like v neck tops. I always feel funny in v necks (tiny shorts, and my belly hanging out fine, v neck and i get a little queasy, there’s no logic). So I’d really like it if you did a scoop neck, or square neck, or basically anything but the v neck please. That’s what i want from pole dance products. And some little ballet pumps that are as flexible as my bare foot, provide the same grip as my skin, can never slip off when i’m dangling from one foot, and let me spin on the balls of my feet like i was wearing socks. If anyone out there has found that please let me know!

I’m game!! I would love to blog about injury prevention and other fitness styles incorporated into your workout/studio line up. Would also be up to be your pole buddy, or one of ;) . I’m sure we can get a group together for you. Will try to give you a call next week after the holidays during the week, or will try to email you.

Lots of warm holiday cheer & Love
