PoleSkivvies is Closing …

Hi, you fabulous pole dancer!
I wanted to be sure you were kept in the loop, so here’s the news … I’m closing PoleSkivvies. It’s been a fun ride, but it’s time to move on to other projects. So many people have been writing in, though, that I thought it would be best to respond to some of the most common questions here:
Are you selling the PoleSkivvies brand?
So far, no. If I find someone who I think will be able to successfully grow the brand, I would love to. Up until now, though, I have had a lot of people approach me, but none has been a good fit. If that changes and I do find a buyer for the brand, you will be the first to know!
Will you be getting more colors or sizes in stock?
The plan is to sell out the inventory, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. There won’t be any new colors or sizes or styles coming in.
What will happen to the PoleSkivvies blog and e-classes?
I plan to leave the blog up for the foreseeable future. The e-classes have been converted to downloadables, so you can still get them for now.
What will happen to the pole workbooks and consulting?
These are no longer available.
What are you doing next?
I’ve loved the experience of growing this business and am now working as a business consultant to IT companies interested in team building and wellness. Just as with PoleSkivvies, I have created an extensive blog, with tons of information on that. So, if that’s what you’re looking for, please come visit me at TechieWellness.com.
What’s happening to your pole studio marketing site?
I am leaving my website on pole studio marketing up for the time being. There are very few people who understand the world of pole, and if it can help people grow their classes and create thriving pole dance businesses, then I’m happy to leave it up.
What will happen to the Make a Difference Award?
I loved creating the Make a Difference Award, but it won’t be something I’ll be able to continue after I close the clothing brand. I do hope the pole community will continue to honor and value the good we all do, on and off the pole.
Will you keep pole dancing?
I plan to! The last several months, dancing was so related to my work with PoleSkivvies, that it had begun to feel like a chore. That kind of freaked me out, since I’ve been dancing since I was 19. Since deciding on my new path, though, I find I’m dancing more and enjoying it again. I’m doing a lot of belly dance (my first dance love) and using pole to keep me in shape.
Will you miss us?
Absolutely! But I don’t plan on going too far – and you can always find me at my new site.
Big hugs to everyone in the world of pole!
Jennifer
