Poles to Avoid Like the Plague

I feel it is my absolute duty to warn all newbie pole dancers of the hazards of Peek-a-Boo poles and Carmen Electra poles.

I’ve, luckily, never been on a Peek-a-Boo, but the warnings against them are all over every pole dance forum I’ve ever been on.

As for the Carmen Electra poles, I was unfortunate to have my very first public pole performance be on one of these. The whole thing kept bowing in the center and I had the pub owner go and tighten the thing down, but to no avail – it still came crashing down while I was mid-spin, and it just missed landing on the head of someone in the audience. This was when I directed the pub owner to some better poles and life got much, much better.

Moral of the story:  If you want a pole, get the best. Buy an X-Pole.
